Let’s explore meaning, purpose, connection, and clarity in your life. Or anything else that might be on your mind and heart. This could be described as spiritual advising or, in secular terms, inner awareness coaching. My only agenda is to be wholly present, to ‘hold the space’ in a way that is free of judgment. Any advice I offer is in the form of a reframed perspective, an evocative question, or a suggestion that’s aligned with what I perceive your own inner guidance to be. I am fluent in both secular and spiritual language and will use words and frames that resonate with your truth.

spiritual direction
Also known as spiritual companionship, this is an ancient contemplative listening practice that explores the spiritual aspect of being human. For centuries, people from all walks of faith (and none!) have met with spiritual directors to listen deeply for the spiritual movement in their lives, or their yearning for it, and how they are being invited to embody their deepest Self. Similar to soul sessions but more focused on helping a directee to seek and find connection with a higher power, however that power might be defined.

discernment/ clarity coaching
If you’re needing to make a major life decision and are navigating through a jungle of old stories, complex feelings, other people’s opinions, and general overwhelm, this session would provide a space to talk things through. We’d aim to, together, tune in to your own deepest knowing and clarify next steps. The opportunity of being deeply listened to is, ultimately, an opportunity to listen to yourself in a way that can be profound and surprising.

supervision / consultation

For spiritual directors, chaplains, and folks in any position of leadership. A supervision session provides an opportunity to reflect on a specific incident or dynamic at play, as well as on the wide scope of one's work. Consultation in that regard is also available. Regular supervision serves to deepen your self-awareness, cultivating greater interior freedom, and refining the unique gifts and capacities you bring to your work.

on set chaplaincy
As a longtime actor, I am right at home on production sets, in rehearsal rooms, and anywhere that's considered 'backstage.' When a production is faced with a challenging subject matter, whether in a storyline or because of a specific incident, I will be there with a calming presence and a friendly ear. Productions can be high-intensity spaces and any personal care provided to the cast/crew/etc. is impactful to the whole.

Whether you're an individual, a couple, an employer, or a group of any size, I can offer a virtual space to brainstorm, to vision, and to clarify what that integration of a grounded spirituality is for you and your unique circumstance.

guest presenter / lecturer
In a virtual classroom or retreat setting, I've given presentations on topics such as queering career, self-companionship, the art of listening, and contemporary mysticism. These tailor-made presentations are part storytelling, part sermon, and part sharing of delicious information. They can include guided meditations, journaling prompts, and questions aimed to spark thoughtful conversation.

workshop on the art of listening
Whether in a corporate or creative setting, good communication with one's colleagues is imperative to a productive and safe working environment. In an Art of Listening Workshop, I lead a group through simple (and fun!) exercises that enhance listening capabilities as well as interpersonal connection. This workshop is an opportunity to grow the senses of camaraderie and trust within a group.

I officiate weddings, memorial services, home blessings, baby blessings, or any ceremony that honors a life transition. The ceremonies can be large or small, secular or spiritual, traditional or unconventional. I’m also available to consult on ceremonies that are created and officiated by others.
